Fortunately, this trend has been reversed lately thanks to the growing attention to the<strong>\u00a0quality of the products we eat<\/strong>\u00a0and the widespread awareness of how food affects our psychophysical health.<\/p>\n<p>Even though we are used to eating tomatoes and zucchini all year round, how nutritious and healthy can these foods really be in November? Would it not be better to\u00a0<strong>prefer the consumption of vegetables<\/strong>\u00a0that grow and ripen during the period in which we find them on the farmer\u2019s market?<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s understand why it is so important to respect the<strong>\u00a0seasonality of food<\/strong>\u00a0and let\u2019s see how we can have a\u00a0<strong>healthy and balanced diet<\/strong>\u00a0taking natural<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>way\u00a0<\/strong>thus making an\u00a0<strong>eco-friendly choice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the main<strong>\u00a0advantages of food gives us the fundamental\u00a0<strong>vitamin C\u00a0<\/strong>nutrients found in citrus fruits, which help fight against colds and help strengthen our immune to the drop in temperatures and the reduction in daylight hours. Make way for\u00a0<strong>pumpkins<\/strong>, to fill up on minerals (sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium) and vitamins (group A, B and C) as well as\u00a0<strong>carrots\u00a0<\/strong>that, thanks to beta-carotene (precursor of vitamin A), have antioxidant properties for skin, heart and eyes.
